What NOT to Do When You are Stressed

It’s probably the opposite of what you do.

I know it’s counterintuitive but please DON’T:

⛔ Reframe the situation.

⛔ Find the positive in the situation.

⛔ Work out the worst case scenario.

⛔ Focus on gratitude and internal strengths.

⛔ Consciously cultivate positive emotions.

⛔ Mentally prepare for future situations.

⛔ Develop plans and future goals.

All the above is USELESS thinking-brain stuff. 💩

When you are stressed, focus on the physical sensations. 👌

In what area of your body do you feel the tension?

Explore the sensations. There is so much to explore at that moment!

Become a curious observer. 🤔

Say to yourself, “I feel x, y, z”.

Be more specific!

Name your feelings in as much detail as possible!

Allow yourself to feel stressed for ANY reason.

Yes, even for the silliest reason ever!

Stress is always legitimate!

When you allow it to be, stress disappears often in seconds.

Instant relief!!! 😌
