What all my Mentors who’re in their 70’s Have in Common

This has been a huge realisation for me.

All my mentors and coaches who are in their late 60’s or 70’s have one thing in common:

They don’t care about what others think of them.

They don’t please people.

They express themselves freely.

They laugh more.

They don’t do much to make you like them.

When you approach the last decades of your life, you let go of the striving in your interactions with others.

That’s probably why happiness is U-shaped.

And I thought… What if I modelled these guys today that I’m 36?

How would my life be different today?

I don’t want to get to my 70’s to learn that.

It’s work in progress.

And it’s certainly possible.

Loving you, Angelos

What most people in their late 60's or 70's have in common—and why you should work on that now that you're young.
The happiness U-curve.
